But Fiz's reaction does happen in real life.
No monster gets away with monsterish behaviour by being outwardly monsterish.
Nobody wants to believe they are married to a monster.
There are plenty of real life examples of married serial killers getting away with murder without the spouse knowing, sadly.
Next week, John pushes Fiz into the hole but is caught in the act by Emily. A struggle ensues and Emily knocks John into the hole. She rushes home and gets an eiderdown that Percy gave her years ago. She then goes back over to the factory, fixes the drain problem, puts on John's boiler suit and helmet and fills the hole back in. The builder fella comes in just as Emily is finishing the filling-in of the hole. She keeps her head down and does her best John voice, before scurrying off and running abroad with mad Mary where they have a Sappho 3some with Claire in France.
My point about Fiz being a thicksh1t is not because she wasn't aware of John being a raving murderer, but the fact that he nipped out every five minutes and for long enough Fiz accepted his explanations. I hope John does her in before he leaves Corrie because she is one of the most irritating and patronising characters of all time.
just veering off slightly from the john stape story,
do you think sallys new fella took his knock back with his marriage proposal to her ok, or do you think we might see another side to him now...?
I've just realised Suezy you've put this thread in "Reality TV" so do you think its real then? and John really is digging up the floor as we speak?
'Big Brother' is Reality TV, or 'Come Dine with me' - Corrie is a soap.(& not real)
Yes, Mike, but apparently Phyllis phones Emily and anonymously threatens to kill her. Emily reports it to the cops, but Phyllis is not 'in the frame' because Emily describes the caller as a burly-sounding Yorkshireman.
