Corrie - John Stape Storyline

Anyone else think they have dragged this storyline out way too long, it's so beyond ridiculous at this stage..the characters are just grating now.

But can someone tell me why they are digging up the factory floor?

John probably got rid of Schmical (can't spell that but it pronounces ok lol)....and also Jack's pigeons....seems he will stop at nothing to prevent witnesses giving out the truth.

The very worse story line was Reg and Maureen. Even Coronation Street never acknowledge it.
Reg was beyond ludicrous.

Whilst we're on the subject of Corrie, why is Steve such a wimp. If he went to court and told tales about evil Tracey, bonkers Bekki, David brat, & Kylie the pole dancer/con artist he would get custody of both kids (Max & Amy) no problem.

Steve has also been in prison, as has Beckie, as has Steve's dad.
Can Steve prove any of it?
Re Amie. Tracy has the support of Deidre (her mother) and Ken (her stepdad) who are in a relatively stable relationship with no issues to concern the courts or social services. Tracy is Amy's mum.
Becky is bonkers.
Steve and Becky have little family support and a full time business to run.
Tracy is a full time parent.

Re Max
Buying a child is illegal. Proving Max was sold to them will be impossible, and even if they could prove it would do them no favours.
Kylie is his mother. Kylie and David have the support of Gail.

You have a very unrealistic view of how life works, especially re custody. Having a good tale to tell is nowhere near enough, In reality I suspect both children would end up in care.

The genre of black comedy is an established part of cinematography and I think that this storyline should be seen as just that.
