Actually Gillian McKeith was in the jungle in 2010 - last year they had a good bunch including Crissy Rock, Lorraine Chase, Fatima Whitbread, Willie Carson and I don't recall any of them being picked on by the public. If Helen can stick it out for a while, there comes a time when the celebs. themselves choose who does the trial.

I was just going to post a question about this very same thing, I have not watched this prog until now and I must say it is very entertaining, but surely Helen must have known what she was in for, she is frightened of her own shadow.

Very few, I imagine, want to eat bugs and unsavoury bits of kangaroo, so it has to be for the money and the publicity.

They go on there coz they get paid handsomely to do so around £40.000 yes thousand£s each, if they'd have me I'd be there wouldn't you? The rats are not sewer rats, they're lovely pet rats bred specially. & I'd risk being sick for forty grand.
