hello does any body watch these awfull programmes ?

There's an advert on TV for soap powder featuring Barry from Eastenders as a diver. Seeing that just once put me right off celebrity diving.

No I don't watch them but Britain's Brightest on BBC1 with Claire Balding is pretty good.

I've been watching Splash but I don't watch Take Me Out.

Couldn't watch rubbish like that but saw a bit of Britain's Brightest. Seems interesting. Impressed by contestant who very quickly answered 81x81.

I think that was the same guy who estimated 22 seconds spot on. He has a very good chance of winning the final.

Didn't see that estimation. What was it about?

They gave each contestant a grid of letters and they had to find as many four letter words as they could. Trouble is they had to do it in 22 seconds and there was no timer so as well as finding the words, they had to keep count of 22 seconds and push a button to stop the clock.

It would seem that the programme planners assume that any one that matters is out on the town on Saturday evenings and therefore they only need to serve up rubbish !

Pure escapism. I either watch or record if going out. But then I'm a fan of Tom Daley and Paddy McGuiness.
