Does anyone know if Earl Spencer will be there? Read (magazine)100 guests were invited by the Queen 100 by Prince charles,50 by Camila, and 100 by William and Kate together-that is so unfair-Kate MAY be accepted by the Queen,but her life will be dictated

Yes, saw on TV yesterday Lord Spencer had an invite. After all Will is his Grandson.
Whether he chooses to go is another thing.

Yes, William is his nephew. He's not sitting with the Royal Family though, I've just looked at the seating plan.

I wrote above because at Diana's funeral he said he would watch over his nephews- and got applauded for what he said, I doubt if he's been alowed to though....

I was actually thinking of Diana's father, didn't know he had died. you are talking of Charles Earl Spencer her brother. Now we've cleared that up.

Diana's father died about ten years ago, jem.

Good-Earl Spencer is there, and Prince Harry just spoke to him-William might have done too- I was in kitchen - at least they are speaking to some guests-unusual for a Royal Wedding. If its true that the invitation was for wedding only-not reception-hope that included Victoria-she always looks so sour-but poss not as William was with David Beckham at World cup-saw them on the news, so they must be friendly

I was never interested in Edwards wedding-never watched it, remember thinking Sophie had a look of Diana about her though-which is weird as Andrew was interested in Selina Scott before Fergie-and she was older version of Diana at the time
