There is a painting featured in a TV series of Jane Eyre

with Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson. I was interested to find out if it was a copy of a real work. or just something the production team came up with. Its a depiction of what Adele the little french girl calls mad people. I found it quiet strange but compelling.

so not actually a copy of the featured painting, i like the one in the tv series, and found it fascinating in its depiction of people, though a little disturbing. Thanks for the link, what i will do is now see if i can have a look at a larger copy.
