I used to looooooove David Essex - I remember crying when he was on TotP singing Hold Me Close. I was about 13.

The weird thing is, as he looks now, he is the spitting image of my ex-husband-to-be... he has (what's left of his hair) white hair & sparkling blue eyes. He looks that much like him these days that last night, while Essex was making his EE debut, my son & my BF Lil both texted me to say "It's Dave......"
