It's complicated I think, not helped when CB has been more entertaining for the last half hour so I've lost the plot. Not very nice though are they.

Bit like the Kingdom of Heaven where all the big names got killed off early leaving a fairly shambolic movie, esp with Ridley Scott's talent & reputation post Gladiator

What era would this have been set ,Often wondered about the sript in these programmes .Cant think of any but the turn of phrase and some of the words used would not have been in use when this story was set .Would they .

It's set in the C15. If it was in the actual language of the time I doubt anyone would understand it.
