Primetime Hijack of TV

Does anyone else feel like I do about the monopoly, multimillionaire Cowell has on prime time TV? If it's not inane 'guess a colour' or a load of workshy wannabees on X factor, there is little else to watch.
Why don't they consign these to a Jeremy Kyle slot, where they can languish for ever as far as I care.

Now I know this may come as a shock but have you ever heard of something called the er a BBC? Also Channels 4 & 5.

Now this may come as a shock to Davethedog, that these are the channels I do watch,and like him, I would'nt watch the other tripe.

The same could be said when football dominates both BBC and ITV on the same night!!

That's why I don't watch those channels, they don't interest me at all - there is plenty on the other channels. If you like Cowell, what are you complaining about?

If ITV can afford to give away millions every night for a week, why don't they spend it instead on making decent programmes?
