This is just starting on BBC2, if you haven't seen it before, it is fascinating. Today about WW1, but yesterday was about teenagers in the 1950's (Teddy Boys, Rock n Roll), it even had Wee Willie Harris on it.
Monday was about evacuees.

It was lovely, the bit I saw. I remember the dancing so well, and the Teddy Boys although I never went out with one! Another age.
