Pointless -Wrong final answer yesterday

On Monday's Pointless the final question was. Name a Australian tennis player who was a champion at Wimbledon, either singles or doubes from 1980 onwards.
Well Mark Phillippoussis was their first answer and was called wrong. He won the Junior Men's Doubles with Ben Ellwood in 1994. If I were the contestant I would be after my £6250 winnings.

I dont pretend to well clued up with certain subjects but I was surprised that Mary Magdelain was wrong on the Last Super painting.....but maybe I am confused by the fictional De vinci Code.

It is held to be Mary Magdalene though ti could have been the position of John - what is known is that it has been played around with a lot - Mary's head would actually fit comofrtably of Jesus's shoulder or, mind you, Andrew's as well.

But for Pointless it should have been MM - who are they cleaiming was there?

On pointless tonight the contestants were ask pairs in films .Cant remenber them now .when a qusetion is ask the guy taking it says we gave a hundred people 100 minutes to name as many what ever as possible .What question would have been asked to get results for questions like that one ,Is this making sense .

The official line has always been that there are only men at the Last Supper - so it's only been in recent years that the suggestion that MM is next to Jesus has arisen.

weecalf, I think they just get the same question as the contestants, so 'name a famous movie couple' but maybe given them parameters, where they are all from a certain era or something
