I shall have words to say to St Swithun should I meet him.
And the young man who just rang me up with investment advice and kept on talking and talking even though I told him in a loud voice that I was NOT INTERESTED. It may be the first time I have ever hung up on someone; usually I chat politely, tell them I don't need their services, and they say "Okay, thanks" and ring off. This one must have been very desperate but that does not excuse failing to take a loud hint.

Oh yes Lottie, a wee in the wee small hours is no fun. Actually I was ok with that until I gave up the hrt and then everything flared up ten-fold. And I have the added delight of stumbling across the landing, because my eyes are so dry I can hardly open them.
ooooohhhh, telesales drive me potty!!! I try to be polite but I have caller display now and never answer the ones I know for sure are sales (I've googled them & kept a list of suspects by the phone). One day last week when I felt lousy the same one rang 6 or 7 times and in the end I answered and cut it off straight away. Another trick is to answer and don't speak...I once heard someone sigh and tut before they cut off, haha.

I'm the local parcel depot/information desk today too...gives me an excuse not to go out.
here's another thing that pees me off. You get a bill and they say 'please pay by 21st July to reach us by the 26th'...ok, fine. Then three days later they send you another waste of paper...'we've not heard anything from you'. NO, you haven't, there's plenty of time, shut ya face!!.....grrrr

Hello Shaney. Lidls do wonderful hot huge cheesy things, a bit like huge cheese straws with gorgeous pastry and full of melted cheese. We had them in the car hot straight out of the oven!!!! Yummy.
We are Lidlling tomorrow, together with Morrisonsing, ready for a busy week next week. SIL is coming down on Thursday and my side of the family are arriving on Saturday for a week. SIL is staying with us, but the others are staying in a holiday cottage just over the fields.

Ooh yes I saw those .But I resisted .I got the Artisan Rye and the rolls .I think they were five for 75p sort of oblong .Mr S was like a dog with two tails .They are just the same as the rolls you get in Germany and he wasted no time at all in loading them up with sausage and scoffing a couple .I've just had one with Quark and jam .Mmm mmmmm :)
