Waterloo road was one of the best episodes in ages. Grantley's final moments
spent with his beloved wife, Fleur bought a tear to my eye. Very well written
and acted.

I agree, but i watched it with my daughter. (19) and she really didnt 'get ' the whole altzeimers thing.......so i can imagine that, that particular fantastically written/acted episode was wasted on the younger eliment?

I'm a big old softy, loved it,was very moved.I know it's only a programme but can not stop myself from feeling emotional about it.

Young people, even the worst, can be remarkably kind. When I was off work for a few days after my Mother died, my form group of Years 10s were told where I was. On my return you could hear a pin drop during registration and I sent them down to assembly. As I stood up to follow them down, one of the toughest lads came over to my desk, patted my hand and said" You all right luv?", and even now 12 years on, it makes me blub.

I am confused by 'Grantley's final moments'. Has he died or has Fleur died? I like Grantley - the only reason I ever watch Waterloo Road and I missed Wednesday's episode.
