Tracy in Coronation Street made such a miraculous recovery tonight from lying in a coma to having a blazing row with Steve in her hospital bed within the space of 5 minutes, an absolute joke- this simply would not happen. Probably a lot to do with the very poor acting of Kate Ford who plays Tracy, I think she forgot she was supposed to be at death's door :) Still it was good for a laugh!

I have mentioned this on a much earlier thread, but the comic writing of Corrie was at its best a few weeks ago with Mary's double entendres. Discussing the forthcoming Elgar concert she exclaimed "Sir Edward has touched parts of me that no man has ever done before!" whilst at the same time discussing a chess rematch with Roy saying, "I'll look forward to that, I always feel I perform my best when my back is firmly up against the wall".

I really like Sylvia - has me in stitches with her dry remarks. Has she left now?
I think Mary would be ideal for the part of Annie Wilks the nurse in Steven Kings Misery,
Yep, have always liked Tyrone - a good actor, as was his wife who played Katy who had a fling with Martin - Jo something or other? Corrie really is the only soap with humour and some brilliant one liners.
I think she will have a relapse. Can't bear the way that Steve treats the mother of his child ,Tracy(kate)I feel is a good actress and so much more attractive and natural than any of the "off the shoulder" weilding T shirt women characters in the street.I would love her to be happy for a change.Oh dear fear I'm getting carried away in a soap!
Sylvia is good too. Do you remember Stephanie Cole in Tenko, and then more recently in Doc Martin. She is a wonderful actress.
Sylvia was back last week. Stephanie Cole has been ill, hence her absence. I feel that the scriptwriters do not do her justice; remember her marvellous performance as Diana in Waiting for God?
Its not real!?

Hahahahahahah joke! Im just poking fun at the its not real brigade!!

I over analyze hospital scenes now since my training i think- but you are right! Miraculous recovery!!!!! Shouting and balling the police would be called lol!!

Deidrie i do like but i think her actings a bit dry recently! Poor mary fancys roy! Go hayley getting her told! Bitch fiiight haha xx
Ps love tyrone!! And i am team michelle LOL x
Afraid I can't agree about Kate Fords acting. I think it is dreadful. I want to see her get her comeuppance. She's a complete bitch!! (the character that is - not kate Ford). And she's a murderer!!!
Hello Tinks.
God, that seems like a lifetime ago when she was had up for smashing the skull of Charlie Stubbs, who had been giving Shelley a real hard time.
Hello LL!!!! Xxx
I also liked Ashley, who was killed off in the tram crash. The funniest though has to be Raquel (Sarah Lancashire); the scripts they created for her were an absolute delight.
Charlie Stubbs was a bit of alright!! Not very nice, but corrrrr
When Ken was giving Raquel French lessons and she came out with, "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" Barlow's face was a picture!
Question Author
I agree about Charlie, Lottie!! :-P
I agree about getting rid of Tracey and dreary. Anne Ford couldn't act if her
life depended on it. I liked Ken's barge girlfriend. Anyone remember her?
She was Stephanie Beacham of US soap fame.
Thanks Mike!
