Circus Of Horrors- Manchester
11 Answers
Snow permitting, we are off up to Manchester on sat to see The Circus of Horrors, can anyone recommend a decent hotel, we need one with parking facilities, that is within half a mile/ a mile max of the Opera house,
Never stayed up there before, so would be grateful for info from anyone that knows the area, or stays up there. Thanks. X

Weekends are popular and with the weather forecast as it is, many people who would have travelled out of Manchester tomorrow, will be booking rooms in case they decide instead, to stay put. Enjoy C of H and don't have nightmares!
Thanks Mass, everything hinges on how bad the snow is at the moment, had a lovely letter from the local paper this morning to say I have won two tickets to saturdays show, so thought we would make a weekend of it. Just hope the weather isn't too bad on sat to stop us going, got to travel up from Wales, and when we get the snow here we get it bad. Fingers crossed. X
The nearest hotel (half a mile away) seems to be the Premier Inn, which is well-reviewed on TripAdvisor:

While it has no car park of its own, the NCP car park is nearby:

If the roads are bad, remember that Manchester is well-served by train. Deansgate station is the nearest to the Opera House, with Oxford Road also being within 10 minutes walk.
The Circus of Horrors is wonderful but be prepared for the fetish ads in the programme!

I'm about 2 miles from the Opera House and so far there is no snow although it did try earlier on. Nothing settled and the temperature is +1. We tend to dodge the worst of the snow around Manchester centre although as you probably know we get more than our share of rain.
Hope it holds off for the next couple of days for you and that you enjoy the show.
