I used to run home from the scouts every

There are usually westerns on Channel 4 around 1-1.30pm.

Today it is "The Bravados" starring Gregory Peck at 1.20pm
Tenderfoot/Sugarfoot.
Little big man
Deadwood is being repeated on cbs. Can't remember if it is their reality or drama channel.

Or Unforgiven.
I think I've read somewhere that this is considered one of the best westerns ever made.

The list could be endless! In no particular order:-
High Chaperral (TV)
Bonanza (TV)
The Sons of Katie Elder
Rio Bravo
3:10 to Uma (1957 version)
Broken Arrow
Little Big Man
Dances with Wolves
Maverik and Bronco Lane ?
Loved them all! My favourite was Maverick, but any Western would have me glued to the screen. Currently Gunsmoke is being aired on Sky so have been watching some of those.
Yes, Gunsmoke is being shown on TCM (Turner Movie Channel) on Sky (in the Movies section).

In fact there is a Gunsmoke on RIGHT NOW (started at 1pm) followed by another straight after.

TCM do tend to show a lot of old movies and TV programs.

Not sure if TCM is on any other platforms apart from Sky.

I remember one Rawhide where they mixed up the three reels which contained the film. They showed reel 1 followed by reel 3 and finally reel 2. It was impossible to understand what was going on, but it was very funny.
Besides all those mentioned i used to like Range Rider. I didnt know it was'nt pc to shoot injuns now i'd hang up my six guns.
The treasure of the sierra madre.
Another good one set in more modern times, Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia
Lonely are the brave, which starred Kirk Douglas, was a kind of lament for a way of life that had gone.
