..I grew up with Bronco ,Gunsmoke and Rawhide I know its not pc anymore t shoot injuns ,but I do miss them.
What was your favourite?

For me The Alamo and the Lone Ranger

best moment in a film Rio Grande, where the soldiers jump on the back of the horses standing up with reins in hands Roman Style, you have to see it to believe it, the youngest actor had never done it before, don't think he could even ride, but it is amazing, i have watched that scene dozens of times, i have admiration for anyone who can ride horses as they did, Ben Johnson the greatest, alongside Yakima Canutt. I like the big films as well like How the West Was Won, and the Big Country.

Gun Fight at the ok corall was the 1st film I remember seeing as a child ,great stuff with Burt and Kirk.

I have no desire to see the new Lone Ranger though with Johnny haming it up as Tonto......anyone seen it ?
