Todays the children in need I will drop a pound or two in the collection boxes .Afraid I will be watching Racing from Wolverhampton and Dundalk then reading my book .Good luck to those intent on watching it I hope the "celerbities " are kind o you .

I abhor these tv telethon things....for many celebs , and others ,an excuse to have the world see how benevolent they are, done their bit then forget about it all next day....

Thank goodness I have plenty of recorded programmes to watch, and I will donate something.

I won't be watching. I find these things, albeit maybe well meant, quite a major turnoff. "ooh look at me , I'm generous and doing my bit. Aren't I wonderful"?

I did read The Children in Need "Account Controllers" are sitting on approximately £92 million they refuse to release for one reason and another,so after giving for many years I am afraid I will be giving it a miss.
