Did anybody else watch this documentary on Ch4 this week ? After the painful exercise that I went through to watch it, perhaps Ch4 should have re-titled it "Angry, White and Stupid"

What an indictment of our education system over the last 30-40 years it proved to be. Within minutes of it starting, these stupid white men were using the F word in front of a little girl, and it went even more downhill after that. I thought that the Policemen featured in the program showed remarkable restraint, having to deal with these slobs.

Your adblocker software is working as it should 4oD has a hugely irritating (and long) advert sequence at the beginning of all shows when viewed online.

You could try pausing the adblocker, going to 4oD and then restarting it when you've finished watching. Alternatively, if you have Freeview, Sky, Virgin etc, you should be able to watch it on any of their 'catch up' channels.

The first thing I notice is that someone who I assume to be a Muslim is angrily tell the Angry Whites 'your sons will be Muslim' 'your daughters will be Muslim' whilst stood at the side of people holding placard saying "

"establish a khalīfah"

How come you never mentioned this mikey, surely this behaviour was equally out of order?

Turns out the leading protagonist was just a lost soul who thinks his problem could be that he is full of self loathing.


A rather dissapointing program really and mikey had given me such great expectations too!

Talbot. The crux of the program was about the rump of the now widely condemned EDL, behaving appallingly. They were crass, ignorant, foul mouthed and racist. The two main characters that featured were also hypocrites, coming from mixed race backgrounds themselves but still of the opinion it was OK to be racist. It was obvious that they hadn't moved on very far from their football hooligan youth, and were just out looking for a ruck, with anybody that they could find. My sympathies are with the Police featured in the program, who acted with remarkable restraint when faced with the behaviour of these idiots. How they didn't arrest any of these idiots is beyond me.

Yes, of course the program featured some equally ignorant and racist Muslims. I am on record for condemning Anjem Choudary and his like. I would love the authorities to be able to deal with him for stirring up racial unrest, and I look forward to the day when he is behind bars.

But Angry, White and Proud wasn't about disaffected Muslims. It was about stupid white men who behave like delinquent schoolboys. Its this aspect of the documentary that was concentrated on, and its disingenuous of you to try to change the subject.

When there is a similar documentary made about extremist Muslims, I shall be just as scathing about them as I have about these stupid white men. If and when that happens, I shall be more than happy to debate the subject with you.

Let me ask you a question. The majority of posters on this thread have condemned the behaviour of these thugs.

Where do you stand ...do you condemn or support them ?

I know what is was about but any sane person without some sort of bias would have noticed that the Muslims in the program were equally as repulsive as the anger whites. Yet you as always gloss over that.
