Angry, White And Proud ?

Did anybody else watch this documentary on Ch4 this week ? After the painful exercise that I went through to watch it, perhaps Ch4 should have re-titled it "Angry, White and Stupid"
What an indictment of our education system over the last 30-40 years it proved to be. Within minutes of it starting, these stupid white men were using the F word in front of a little girl, and it went even more downhill after that. I thought that the Policemen featured in the program showed remarkable restraint, having to deal with these slobs.

I seen it and missed the first fifteen minutes but they all appeared to be English and the vast majority were males.

The purpose and conclusion of the program was perfectly clear....everybody else on here can see that and I am not sure why you are not able to.
I have nothing further to add to my post of earlier this morning, but I look forward to a debate with you when CH4 produces a program more to your liking.

I have just watched the programme.
Nothing really changes - we have a group of largely uneducated men who have too much free time and too much of an over-developed sense of self-righteousness.
The links are the same as football hooligans - the need to feel loved and supported by people who think the same. They enjoy their 'siege' mentality, the idea that only they can protect their homes from rampaging invaders, it makes them feel important and that they belong to something which satisfies their deep seated fear that they are not making any sort of impact on the world around them.
Their anger and ugly attitudes also reek of fear, and their willingness to confront any and everyone, be it police, citizens, even each other, shows how deeply unhappy they all are.
Fortunately they are, and always will be a small, if vocal minority who hold no sustainable views, or support.
Best ignored, like noisy children, they will get bored and go away.

If they were not following their 'Enger-land' friends, they would still be football hooligans - the same tribal attitudes and mob-handed approach has simply transferred under the guise of 'patriotism'.

Now if a programme comes on about radical Muslims who present exactly the same behavioural attitudes for exactly the same reasons, then I will be delighted to comment on that.
But the programme we are discussing is the Angry White And Proud programme, and I really can't see what your argument is about.
Did you feel the white men did not have their views and behaviour represented? Clearly they did, and suitably unpleasant they were as well. I would not want to be represented in any way by men who act and speak in this way.
