I was watching last night's RM and at the end of the program there was a "tribute" to Alexander Ford-Robbins who died in 2013 (he was 28).
I obviously looked on Google and from what I can gather (which wasn't much) he was a cricketer, a link to a Facebook page has him listed as missing (died crossed out) 2013.
My question, does anyone know the relevance to Restoration Man or maybe the gorgeous George Clarke?
I thought their enthusiasm for the skills they had learnt to help them restore the lodge, and the fact they wanted to teach other people the same skills was inspired. I wish them every success.
I saw that at the end of the programming and also wondered. Thanks for the information.
That house was stunning...nice and cosy even before the addition.
Hello,
The Lodge, which was featured on this programme had been bought and restored by a couple called Nice Huddersfield and Vanessa Ford-Robbins.
It seems sad and very likely that the young man who was remembered in the closing creditswas a very close relative of Vanessa, perhaps even her son.
