Yes. All BBC content is made with licence fee dosh.
I agree, a load of tosh , quite disappointing. We were waiting for the Great Flood and instead we got some kind of earthquake . Was that what is was ?
So,I,was right to avoid it.
What's not to like? David Threlfall leading the people back to socialism, tick. Black angels, tick. Feisty, opinionated wimmin, tick.
You try shoe-horning Labour policies into biblical drama. It ain't easy.
I liked it.
Och, it's all water under the bridge.
I doubt they called mother "Mum" in those days, measured distance in miles or used the term "having sex". The "Ark" resembled my shed only larger, I doubt it would have even floated. I thought the programme was woeful.
If they used the language of 'those days' none of us would understand any of it
It didn't float my boat!
Another programme another moan about wasted licence payers money. I'd rather it be spent on this type of programming than The Voice/Strictly/East Enders et al. It had its faults to be sure but at least was thought provoking and well acted. The BBC will never please everyone.

No-ones asking for Aramaic, hc. Slightly above 'Eastenders in Sandals' would have been a start.

It didn't pretend to be anything other than what it was - a modern day slant on the lead up to the flood, concentrating on family values and the strength of their belief. Not in God, but in the head of their family. I thought it was well acted and enjoyed it.
Didn't watch it but it was being blasted on Radio 2 today. Won't bother with the iplayer!
Don't get me started on the Licence fee paying for Dara O'Briain and Ed Byrne holidaying at my expense on "Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure",just another "Jolly" for the boys.!!

I'm sorry I missed it now and curse my sky coverage that I was unable to download last night
