I have just finished watching 'The C Word' with Sheridan Smith, and it really moved me. I am seldom so transfixed by a programme.

Did anyone else see it?

Lol...just posted about it.

I found it very emotional from start to finish.
yes hoppy - another thread has been started
No. I started to (just by chance) then realised it was about breast cancer and I`ve had enough to do with that for a while. Watched Home Fires instead.
Brilliant performances from all.........moving and above all honest. Should make us all stop and think how to live the life she should have had...a truly lovely young lady....x
This is the one and only Sheridan Smith drama I will not watch. I am sure she will be superb in it but it will be far too upsetting for me.

HC, I can strongly recommend it, and no doubt it will be repeated.

I wouldn't use the word upsetting, unless you have personal experience.

I am so used to watching pure entertainment shows that this quite shook me. It was very, very well acted. Do watch it if you get the chance.

I've just commented on the other thread. It was wonderfully sensitively handled - and written in collaboration with the lady in question and her family, according to the credits. More like a documentary than a drama.

Here is the link to the other thread, and I suggest all further comments are posted there. Thanks all.
