I'm looking forward to this !

It should be wonderful, given that Andrew Davies is the screenwriter. He has given us some marvelous Dickens adaptations in the past.

Anybody going to tune in ?

Its a little beyond my bedtime these days, so I may actually watch it the following day....thanks goodness for the iplayer !
What is your opinion of it, Abers? I didn't watch it last week so downloaded it on my Sky box but could not get the subtitles up so missed much of the dialogue. I am now recording this evenings episode with subtitles so will try and catch up when watch it later. I am not deaf but some actors mumble.
Pants - gave up on it after 1/4 hour....
I've watched both episodes and not having read the book, am quite enjoying it. Took a bit of getting into with so many different characters, but at least I can follow the plot and hear the dialogue! Looking forward to next week's episode.
It's gone a bit cliched this week.
Tried again but have given up.
I find it hard to believe that well bred women dressed the way the young princess did in episode 1. Artistic license perhaps?
Enjoying watching the actor Stephen Rea ( Prince Vassily Kuragin) .. also in Dickensian ( Inspector Bucket) ... There's something about the way he delivers a line. I was surprised to find out he's Irish, born in Belfast. There's no hint of an accent there at all. Great actor.
Just found a clip of him accepting an award with his true accent!! .. 1.48 in ..
