Tv Has Lines After Xbox Left Turned On.

Is the TVs repairable or do I need a new TVs.
Grandson left his Xbox turned on when he went home and now the lines are there all the time you cannot watch normal tv at all.
Thanks for any help.

Looks like you have a case of Image Retention this occurs when a residual charge remains in the cells it is a temporary problem but can take from a few minutes to several weeks to fade away

Man at TV shop said it was the motherboard and not repairable.
