Its full name is "The Price Is Right" Contestants had to guess the price of something... For every pound they were wrong, the skier type thing would go up the slope.

I also thought, "the price is right".
Sam's description is pretty much spot on.
If the price was incorrect, the skier would go up the slope, 1 notch for every pound out - if it fell off at the top, they lost.

Yup, and it was one of many games they would play before spinning the wheel to see who could get closest to 100 (max two spins)
