Earlier in the year Noel Edmonds was on Parkinson. I'm sure I remember Noel saying that there had been two winners of the 250,000, but because how far ahead the recording of the shows are done, they wouldn't be on til about October. Did he say that? or did I imagine it?

Yes he did say that. Me and my Dad were discussing this a couple of weeks ago and we think that they are probably going to save the 250k winner programmes until Christmas!
me and my mum think he made that up, just to make people keep watching.. i think they would have had at least one by now if he had been telling the truth.. also i find it unlikely that the person/people wouldn't have been in the papers before now saying they had won..
He said it, but he was joking.

Incidentally, it would be difficult to save any programme for christmas, as the sudden disappearance of a player would look a bit suspicious!
i didnt think he said it in a joking manner..
According to their website they make 3 programmes each day, so it is quite possible that they film that far in advance. Some contestants have been waiting for 30-40 shows, which in reality is only probably 10 days or so.

Oh, I didn't realise he was joking! Wasn't really funny if he was joking...don't see why he would have said it!

I can see why they would want to save any winners til christmas, but as jenstar says, it would be noticable that someone had disappeared.

Oh well!
do you really know exactly who is on each programme each day, unless you take all the names down and check each day one person could have gone
