When Liam opened the door to the van, weren't you just willing him to plant one on Charlie just to get the pleasure of seeing Charlie get punched? I know it's happened before but it can't happen often enough for me. Hope that what I've read about Charlie getting killed by the end of the year is true and it turns into a real whodunnit. As it's set in the Northwest, wouldn't it be great if there could be a crossover between series and the hunt for the killer gets split between Corris and Cracker? Now that WOULD make for good telly and a sure-fire ratings winner.

I was hoping that Liam would say something in the pub and Gail would go out and confront Charlie,what a wonderful way for her to release all that pent-up frustration of the last year or so.
I've been thinking about how Charlie should leave and I think that the best way for them to go is for David to kill Charlie,have a brief affair with Maria until Tracy finds out what he did and kills him and then Tracy gets sent to prison for life.
