no hospitals

what is it with folk in emmerdale, dont they have any hospitals, or do they prefer the great outdoors to have babies, belle was born in a pig sty, debbies baby, sarah was born in a shed of some kind, now vivs twins born in a barn, not very original me thinks.

Apparently in Corrie, the door to the toilets would lead into Albert Tatlocks living room, but I don't think he lives there any more.
