Did anyone watch Top Gear last night? where Jeremy Clarkeson and Co. made up 3 stretch limos by cutting standard cars in half and then welding a piece in the centre. They then drove these vehicles through central London, to an awards ceremony.
In the process of doing this they demolised illuminated bollards, and held up traffic. In the end Clarkson's vehicle broke in half and he carried on his journey on the two front wheels and the back end dragging on the road with sparks flying everywhere.
How were these vehicles allowed on the road? They definitely would not have passed a M.O.T. No sign of any Police about.
as with a lot of there recent stunts, it would all have been a huge set-up. I reckon they probably had special allowances for filming on those roads etc.
It was brilliant and i wish id seen the first half of the show!
If it's any consolation. I fell for the caravan on fire last series. I don't normally watch this (Clarkson makes me sick..) but I saw that one and thought it was for real.
Its a long time since i have laughed at the telly so much especially when Clarkson was driving along in just the front of the fiat Panda!!! Hilarious!!!!
Set up or not, they were driving in London's busy traffic, and they did cause that bus a problem. 4getmenot I did not say he did the rest of his journey with the back end dragging, I just said he carried on, no mention of how far, or that Lamar was serious, in fact no mention of Lamar in my question at all. So you must have been referring to curlyperm, go on admit it and take her rebuff.
No I meant it for you I was just referring to Lamar as well as I take it you watched the whole program :-) just wondering if you took it seriously which you obviously did :-) I'm sure they said they had to each go through MOT first anyway. so all road legal :-)
