I love David Bowie links.

after a few operations to save his sight, he has perfect vision.
very helpful
If your pupil runs into your iris.... I'm trying to think what you mean. Bearing in mind your pupil is a hole. And iris is tiny muscles that control the size of the hole when exposed to light or dark... If the hole is an irregular shape that would affect the positioning of the image that goes through the iris etc. So maybe it would cause short or long sightedness?

There was a girl at my school whop had it, I thought it looked ae but never thought to ask her is it effected her sight. Maybe its one of those things the brain learns to readjust for you.

Incidently I look a lot more attractive when my pupils are abnormally larger. The antihistimines I have, have caused this to happen whenever I drink, others seem to find it a freaky though.

Apparently Maddies eye has a 'distinctive blemish running from the bottom of her iris to the pupil'

There you go..it is a coloured blemish, not her pupil itself.
Are you a teacher? Beware of rambunctious pupils!
I once knew a cross eyed teacher, she could never control her pupils!!!
