Why is it that there is never a happy ending on these sort of programmes. I was willing Martin and Louisa to get married and the script writers have deprived me of yet another happy ending. Is anyone else disappointed.
Me ! she looked lovely didnt she? the dress really suited her , the neckline was lovely , what with the flooded bar, ruined food and cake and her friend having the baby it was non stop ...lol
I know Trish I was willing the blinking prog tonight to give us viewers some feel good factor, but yet again it was a disaster. I know its not real but wouldn't it be nice for once that the people getting married actually made it without all the disasters.
I have really enjoyed all the Doc Martin series but this was one episode I didn't enjoy. Not because they didn't get married (which of course they should have!) but the episode itself wasn't very good. It was silly rather then amusing and a real let down to the end of a great series. I hope there is a new series next year though!
I was disappointed too but then I thought maybe if they did get together it might lose some of the tension of the show. I found that in Friends the tension of the Ross and Rachel will-they-won't-they was exciting but once they got together it got a bit boring, so think maybe they were trying to avoid this?
I was gutted ... and thank goodness I was watching 2 programmes at the same time, cos I could take my mind off it by watching the final half hour of the other one!
Even if they do another series - which I doubt - they won't get together again, it wouldn't make sense ... and all I wanted was a happy ending!
I didn't like last night's episode either. It was too silly for words - more like children's television. I am not sure why the Doc said he didn't think Louisa would make him happy either. It all seemed a bit disjointed. Shame, because I have really enjoyed it up until now.
I have been watching this whilst at work, not particularly because I wanted to but because it was on, and I have had my buttocks firmly clenched all the time it was on, thinking maybe it will soon be either funny or dramatic, instead of leaving you feeling as though you have missed the joke.
Have enjoyed the series and found the episode a complete letdown and didn/t feel it made sense. Louisa has been after him since the beginning and nobody else got on with him and as soon as he agrees to marry her she pulls out of the wedding after singing his praises to her pregnant pal
