I've been watching the past week or so wondering what it was exactly he was supposed to have done. I still don't know whether we, the viewers, have been told yet, or whether I just missed it when it was mentioned. Having a quick search throws up the suggestion that Declan being conceived was the result of Richard raping Rebecca.
