Repeats on SKY!

ITV 4 have been repeating the Saint for the past few months but only showing series 6 over and over (I thinks it`s series 6) correct me if i`m wrong. What about the other series? Why don`t they show them?
Also the same with BBC 4 The Avengers, same series over and over and DAVE airing Have I Got News For You, They show the series from 1992-93 and show series 2002-07. I have never seen the in between episodes repeated?
Does anyone know why they are not shown?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the channelsonly have the rights to those series.The Saint is season 5.

OK, pedantic, but it has nothing to do with Sky. Secondly, you could say the same about everything else they show - Minder, Professionials, UFO, etc etc.

Postdog!...I asked a simple basic question on non screening of early episodes of TV shows shown on SKY, whether it be BBC, ITV, G.O.L.D or whatever. I gave a small example of the series. If I went into detail of all the different shows I would have taken up a full screen. Do you get paid to be pedantic? I don`t but if you are and you want to criticize peoples postings learn to spell!
