I've missed a few episodes. Seen the last bit tonight re patrick and the rev. something about the nottinghill riots?

What have i missed ?

You've not missed anything. If you didn't watch Eastenders for a year, you still wouldn't have missed anything.
It's gone down the tube. Very depressing.
Has there ever been an episode were someone doesn't shout at someone?
Hope this soap goes the way Brookside and Crossroads went, ie, off our screens. You can't beat Corrie.

Chelsea found out that the new guy who is sniffing around Patrick had a book full of newspaper clippings about the riots & Patrick featured in them.

Chelsea nicked the clipping and showed it to Lucas who in turn showed it to Patrick. It just said that he had been done with assault. Patrick looked horrified though.

Surely this isnt just about Patrick beating someone up in the riots right? what else is assault?

Yeah if the big news is just that Patrick once beat someone up a long time ago then it really doesn't deserve such a dramatic reaction or storyline. There must be more to it and if there is not Eastenders is really scraping the barrell

Well Spoiled33, I didn't notice it was an all black cast last night either!

To be honest I didn't have a clue what was going on with that guy in the pub talking to Chelsea. Last time I saw him, he was sneaking about in the shadows of the club, so thanks milo1978.

I don't think they will do a storyline about him assaulting a woman. I think it is just gbh or something. Patrick is too nice and I don't think that vicar bloke would not tell Denise, especially having the two girls in the house.

Check me out - more into it than I think.

Hadn't thought of that theory milo but you're right they did make a big point of Patrick liking the girls last night. Anythings possible in soapland.

They said the riots started because a white woman was seeing a black man. Perhaps Patrick was the black man?

Edward Woodward will be appearing soon as Tommy Clifford. He is a friend of Theo who has been asking questions about Patrick. Theo has been sent ahead to test the waters and find out what the situation is in Patricks life before Tommy appears. What Theo doesn't know is Tommy's motives are less than honourable and revenge is afoot. Look out for Ian's 40th Birthday,he is forced to drop his pants in the Vic and show everyone his little devil.

I wouldnt have noticed it was an all black episode if I hadnt read all about it in in paper first either. Its ridiculous soon we will have an all gay episode and what about the jews!!

Got fed up with them black folk sitting around the table slagging off us white folk.

Perhaps in the name of of racial equality we may look forward to a future episode of a group of white folk slagging off them black folk?
