I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

Glad Påsk http://i43.tinypic.com/n717o0.jpg again all - I'm not sure even when *we* say it...

I like that chair Jude, I'd keep it too. How tiny it looks under your Dad...

And Robi thank you soooo much for my new wallpaper *barf*. I've returned the favour, enjoy your new desktop - MWHAHAHAHA...!! Be sure to fasten your seat belt before you click http://darkpsychedelic.ru/FV_23.html (your grandmonsters may like it?)

Neti the desktop screenshot was just to show off all the fun I'd been having at the two icon sites I also posted. It was meant as an inspiration if anybody else also wanted to pimp *their* desktop although probably using other icons than mine; I was just showing mine. If you right-click one of the shortcuts on your desktop and choose 'properties', you can assign another icon to it from a folder you've previously created in My Pictures. Desktop icons have to be in the ico format, not jpg or png or anything else, just ico, and the two sites I posted provide lots and lots of ico images (and other formats as well so make sure you pick the format you want).

Back laters:)
Rightttt............. it's a bit clearer now thanks Kit, but don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon.

Hope you are feeling better now. Take care, surely all the snow has gone now, sunny and springlike here!

Thanks Neti I'm feeling better in the sense that I can listen to music without it being accompanied by a rattling sound, but the single, shrill tone and the impaired hearing are still there. Still, it's a blessing that the rattling is gone and it does make me feel more optimistic just generally.

And yes it's springlike here too:) Yesterday was lovely (and today was too) and I went for an aimless little walk just to be walking. I walked to Mariatorget which is a square and a city park here on my island. There used to be an orangery there in the eightenth century where they grew mulberry trees and fig trees and bitter orange trees. The square has had many different names throughout the centuries, at one time it was named after a king who would only allow the use of his name provided no executions took place there – which they did on literally every other square in Stockholm… Another king, also in the eighteenth century, used the square for tournaments. His royal box was standing right in front of what today is The Rival Hotel, ABBA-Benny's hotel. I really like everything about that hotel, including their logo http://i42.tinypic.com/i5xheq.jpg which I've been trying to talk them into making a poster out of. So far they haven't but I discovered yesterday they are now selling mugs with the logo, so I bought a couple of those:)

And then I intended to walk back home again but whuddayaknow the shops were open, I didn't think they were. I bought a waistcoat similar to this one http://i39.tinypic.com/2lly8fm.jpg at the completely unreasonable cost of 4½ quid, ha ha wouldn't have to hide *that* price tag from my husband would I now, biddies!
I like that waistcoat Kit - cool!!
still pretty nippy here, Kit, lots of lovely yellow forsythia and pink and white flowering cherries around our neighbourhood, but it's a wonder some of them aren't blue.

Great poster.
Oooh feel sick, have eaten a creme egg, quite a few profiteroles with choccie sauce and strawberries, everton mints and fruit gums. ♫ What kind of fool am I...♫
it's Ok now, am eating brown bread and raspberry jam! Have my eating head on today!!!!
Morning all - lovely sunny day here, the man at the back is felling a huge pine tree, so no more "yellow snow", and the cat has weed on my bed cover, and it's too big to get in washing machine, so am steaming it and Febreezing it but think will have to go to laundry tomorrow as half fiesta here again. This is the first cat we've allowed in bedroom and thanks all the thanks we get!!!

On a brighter note, hope you are all feeling better and more cheery, esp. kit.
no sun here but at least no rain or snow either. Another bit of another tooth fell off last night, so that's my Easter excitement for the weekend. I already have an appointment tomorrow for the last crown so I shall ask him to start thinking about the next one.

Oh, and there's a squirrel in the garden... yawn....

It is just beginning to occur to me that maybe my life isn't that interesting.
Hah jno, you possibly have the most exciting life of all the biddies (although cannot actually speak for El vin - gawd knows what he is up too!). I used to have a very exciting life, but am quite (almost, I think!) glad to have a very humdrum life now.
hello all...yup humdrum is good. When i was at work, part of my email signature said "Shall I have stress in my life and call it excitement; or boredom and call it stability?"
kit that kaleidoscope site is amazing...took me back to my childhood
could someone please remind me of the kaliodoscope thingy, or put a link, I love them.
top of the page neti, this was it

<goggles eyes>

Sigh... either I'm out dining with the crowned heads of Europe or I'm sat at home listening to my teeth crumble. A bipolar sort of existence, really.
PS waggle your arrow over it to drive it crazier...
Hello Chookies
No kaleidoscopes today please.I'm dizzy enough as it is .
Oh dear Jno more toothy trouble .You don't dine out with your dentist do you :)
So so here weatherwise .Bit of watery sun, drop of rain .Temperatures are not exactly climbing to dizzy heights .I want heat !
Pretty humdrum at Shaneytowers too. I have to decide between wasting my time with a crossword or wasting my time generally .Decisions ,decisions .
Did you watch Ashes to Ashes Woofy ?
And... "bong bing " Robinia .Foyle is back next Sunday .Ooogle time :)
ha ha, it's all crowns with you isn't it jno???
Oh yes that kalidoscope is very dizzy making!
Hello there quiet day today (and cold). Nipped to Sainsburys 'for a few bits' as the saying is - now doing my lunch. Pasta and bacon and cheese.

I watched Frost last night and got a bit bored but will watch the last part tonight just because it is the last episode. Looking forward to Foyle next week cos I like that better.

Shaney, I think I will be on the Sudokus this afto if the weather doesn't get warmer for a bit of a walk. It's the cold wind that does me.

Jno when I had that fall a bit back I chipped the edge off a crown. I really ought to go and have it looked at. I know I will need a new one. It doesn't look too bad but it definitely needs seeing too.

Take care all see yer later 'gater(s)!
