Do blokes really get upset

if their girlfriends want to have an abortion? On so many tv programmes the blokes seem to throw a wobbly when they find out their girlfriend is up the duff but wants rid.
I don't know any blokes who wouldn't be relieved! Especially if they are already married to someone else.

Of course they get upset, maybe those who arent in a commited relationship feel differently but those who are in serious relationships do feel the pain when their partner decides on an abortion and they are against idea.
Even when its a joint decision both parties can be affected by it.

This is where men are totally and utterly powerless.
They're feelings regarding the pregnancy count for nothing, no matter how strongly they feel about the matter.
If he wants the baby and the mother doesn't, he can't stop the abortion, even if they are married.
If he doesn't want the baby and the mother does, he is looking at years of child support even if the baby was conceived during a one night stand and she told him she can't have kids.

Your question seems to imply that blokes don't want children and therefore wouldn't be upset if a due child (planned or not) was going to be terminated instead of born.
