No they will not ban you. I was doing 105 on M3. I had also been filmed at 110 but because I pleaded guilty this was not mentioned. Got 5 points. 300 quid fine plus 64 quid costs. Magistrate demonstrated with his finger next to his thumb how close I came to losing my licence.
Several years later was on camera doing 37 in a 30 which led to speed awareness course and nil points.
I thought over 100mph on a motorway was an automatic ban. I was pulled in at 108 got a hefty fine and banned. It was about 14 years ago but I thought it would have been stricter now.
Thanks grasscarp, I'd no excuse for doing it (racing the London Edinburgh express train would not have been a good defence) but I did have a very frail mother living 10 miles away who I had to visit twice daily. I was lucky to get a 2 week ban and a large fine.
