Squeaky Brakes

Since having my car serviced two weeks ago, the brakes are really squeaky. Will they settle down or do I need to take it back in?

Yilly, I have feeling that a smear of copperease grease on the back of the brake pads will probably cure that squeak for you.

It sounds to me as if it's the brake pedal mechanism that's squeaking - not the brakes themselves.

WD 40 should do the trick.
