Citroen C3 - Front Windscreen Washer

The windscreen washer for the front windscreen on the above car doesn't work. What does happen is that whilst the front wipers work when the stalk is pulled toward the driver, water comes from the back windscreen washer! This means that the back washer works both when the back wash switch on thew stalk is activated AND when the front switch is done also. Help please - how/what/why etc.

Yes - filled it myself.

Get someone to opperate the washers from inside the carwhilst you listen if the motor is working, on the stork, has thwasher control been turned to wash the rear only?

'has the washer control been turned to wash the rear only?' How would that happen? Is it possible to change the 'front' switch to operate the 'rear' washer?

I have no idea if this is relevant, but a quick google suggests that the fuse often goes on thosecars.

It seems that the wash bottle is poorly situated, so it is prone to freezing and not thawing. It seems that if you use it when frozen, it blows the fuse.

Replacing the fuse might get yours working again, but I can't explain why it is operating the rear one.

Just toggle the washer control Mr, as said, also check your fuses, Is there a blockage in the front wash pipe jets /?
