Does anyone know when the first beer/lager cans were produced????

http://www.greenmon.com/first_beer_cans.htm says about 1910 then generally on sale from the 1930's

I don't know whether this will help, but my mother has a keyring about the date of her birth (January 24) and it says that on that day, "beer in cans first sold 1935".
