Am at a loss to find a connector for my iPod Nano that is compatible with the plug-in in a BMW 330i. Can anyone tell me what type I need or where to buy it. Apple and BMW could not help!

Try using one of these: Hama Connection MP3 Cable, 3.5mm Jack to Jack. Available @ Amazon for just a few pounds - a bargain!!
If your connection is in the front armrest & should work.
Bit of a secret that neither BMW or indeed Mp3 manufacturers want to share!

I have used them for my A6 then my 530i and then my X5 and 320 CSE - every time they have fitted without a problem. Use the drop down box to select your particular radio/CD system.

I tried the aux out and it didnt work for my 530i - I returned to the Dension Product since and have no regrets. The best part of Dension is that you can get the ipod to bring up the txt of the songs in your cars stereo display (exclusive to BMW drivers) and also extra play options (Album.playlists etc)

At 99 average they're not cheap but plug and play and well worth it.
