Hi all...I have a Grande Punto which has done less than 2000 miles and it is performing quite beautifully apart from one little thing which is bugging me some.........twice, just twice, I have suddenly noticed the Total Miles part of the digital display flashing.........it still adds on the miles and if I change to the Trip display there is no flashing there. Both times when I stopped and restarted the car the flashing went away.

Anyone else seen this or can give any explanation please?........I know I could go to the dealer but you know how it is...I don't want to appear a complete idiot over something which is maybe my fault.....

i would think that there could be a slight dodgy connection in the wiring or plug etc that operates the dash light to this part,not a big problem as you say the miles are recording ok.
