corsa breather problems

I have a '04 corsa 1.4 Twinport. Coming form the rocker box are 2 breather pipes, the larger one on the right was half full of gummy oil and cleaned out easily, but the smaller one on the left was blocked up. I cleared the pipe out easliy enough but it disappears around the back of the engine and there must be a small diameter hole into the crankcase? but its blocked. Can anyone tell me what size hole it is and is it easy to clear? and why is it blocked? Its a pain to get at but it needs clearing. Cheers
