For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.dude the cambelt keeps the engine working if this snaps then its probably a new engine or a hefty repair bill to replace all the broken engine componants, so yep its a case of phoning the dealer to ask as per the model service interval when you need to get this done, other than a belt you also have a cam chain on some cars which dont need changing untill around 100 k but as with all moving things you need to look after them so a regular oil chang is a must for everyone and thing
