mondeo 2002 zetec s hesitant?

ive a slight miss/hesitantcy with my car in all gears when foot flat down to the floor when revs are below 2000 as soon as above that all is fine and pull smooth and correct , could this be a simple case of plugs and leads , it got 51000 on the clock ??
prev should u get ur cam belt , replaced ?

Probably is the plugs or leads breaking down under load.
When were the plugs last replaced, they should be changed every 37,500 miles or three years.
