transfering numberplates

I would like to take on my partners number plate and swop it with mine. Is this difficult to do?

not difficult to swap, but the numerplate wouldnt be registered to the car its on then. not very legal

it will cost you �80 to transfer the number to your car,check the dvla website,tells you all about it.

JK04 I did mean to do it legally.

Can only swap the two plates if they are personal plates though,You can't swap them if either car was brought new with that plate on it.i.e if you brought a car and the dealer registered it with AB 02 ABC you can't just swap it with another car,plus you can't make the car look younger than it is
