please can anyone tell me when i am driving along all of a sudden my fronty dies,theres no spluttering power just dies.now if i reset my immobiliser it will start again,otherwise i really have to keep trying to start it.i can carry on driving and it goes again,its got worse this last week.i did notice about six months ago that the imobiliser had to have ignition on to turn light off then turn ignition off again and then start engine.do you think its this and how can i sort it out

try this it might work, it sounds like one of the relays is playing-up because the same happened to mine, if you open the bonnet, on the front n/s where the bonnet stay bar is hinged you will see a big black relay pull this out and check the contacts, if they are dirty give them a clean or check to see if they are loose where they go into the relay if so replace the relay costs about �10 this relay operates both the ignition spark and the electric fuel pump good luck

yes we found this relay dirty and cleaned it,and havent had problems yet.so thanks for that it looks like it might have been this one.thanks for confirming it.
