vauxhall astra n reg tried to input securty code 3 times for radio and now cannot get into code entry mode .only bleeps and shows 7 safe how can i proceed

Hi, Give it an hour or so before you retry to input the code.

As TWR says after 3 goes the radio "times out" you need to leave it on saying sec for an hour (it might need the ignition on cant remember) Then you get another go. However as you seem to have got it wrong 3 times maybe you should check the code to make sure it is the correct one. Otherwise it will time out again and again.
