radio code or not radio code

recently i have bought a vauxhall astra 1.7 cdti 2006 i do not have a radio code the radio model is cd 30 does it need a code only im afraid to disconect the battery thanks

i think what twr means is can you give him the full serial no off the back of the radio,but you could try looking in the front of the service book for the orriginall supplying vauxhall dealer & phone them to see if they can give you the code itl save removing the radio.

i just need to know if it has a code or not as i bought the car off a main dealer they will get it for me but i dont want to make a fuss if it doesent need a code thanks
